How do i reset an iPod nano(black, first gen.) if half the screen is black??? it keeps coming back and leaving
The screen is half black and when attempting to be reset, it leaves and comes back...
When plugged into the computer, it just comes up as a white screen, without even the "do not disconnect" ....what should i try next??
I'm going to give you some help now but I will be back(busy right now) so this is just to get you started and trying.
To unfreeze ipod reset it= Hold the Center & Menu buttons until the Apple logo appears.
All you have to do is connect it to iTunes. That will unlock it.
You may have to format it =
To format = Plug in your mp3* Go to start* Go to my computer* Right click you mp3 and choose format* save music/video to your PC before formatting*

On April 12, 2005, the company Apple announced the iPod video to come. The product was about to reveal a new function device, which means that the capacity of playing videos.

Even thought the battery works perfectly for just 2 hours when playing a movie constantly, the battery is estimated at 20 hours (when listening to music), compared with 16 hours the last iPod model entirely, which is a big plus. Even better, the new iPod video has the largest color display since the introduction of these devices in 2001, which may be additionally used to playing videos, for good visibility of images and sharp text; addition, the new iPod video the complete thumbnail size pictures imported from various cameras. Another plus in accessories is the protection sleeve for the main unit, which comes as a result after iPod nano, meaning the previous generation of these products that were easy to remove. Sleeve is made of a synthetic material, in a pale shade of gray with visible stitching and a velvet-like inner surface. Besides the technical and practical tests also discuss about the new look of the device, which looks sharper and more elegant in black and white.
