New Ipod Nano Software Update

Has anyone started to experience ipod nano problems since the last software (1.1.3) three weeks ago?
Since the latest software update my music has become all disstorted when I use the graphic equlizer. Before this update my music sounded great when I was listening in the loudness mode. Done all the usual Apple fixes even tried a new ipod but none have worked and Apple are not interested in helping me as they say "no one else has reported this problem". Can anyone shed some light on this matter or confirm they are having problems too?
I havent got around to updating mine,perhaps i wont now so thanks for the warning,if thats what is causing it of course.
